How to Delete a Facebook Page

STEP1

Click on "Edit Page." The "Edit Page" button appears near the top right corner of the fan page, inside your "Admin Panel."

• You should notice the downward arrow next to the "Edit Page" label. This indicates that a drop-down menu will appear when you click on the button.
• The "Edit Page" button is the left-most button along the top of your Admin Panel. It should be located near "Build Audience" and "Help."
• Note that this can only be done if you are one of the page's administrators.

STEP2

Go to "Manage Permissions." This option should be the second one from the top of the “Edit Page” drop-down menu. Click on the text to select it and open the Permissions page.

STEP3

Choose "Delete [Page]." Click on this option to permanently delete your fan page.

• Note that the name of your page will appear after the word “Delete,” replacing the bracketed text.
• This action will permanently delete your page. If you only want to make the page inaccessible temporarily, you should un-publish the page, instead.
